Tapp Market Privacy Policy

Tapp Commerce Oy, represented by its local entities: PT. Tapp Digital Nusantara, TappCommerce Philippines Inc., (hereinafter “Tapp”), operators of Tapp Market service, protect the privacy of the users of our Service. This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) describes how Tapp collects, uses, discloses, transfers and retains information, including your personal data, when accessing and using the Tapp Market mobile platform and service, accessed through the Tapp Market Mobile App, a website at or similar web sites, associated links and/or any other online communication method or offline software components, made available by Tapp for the purchase of products (collectively hereinafter referred to as “Service”).
Tapp is the controller of your personal data processed under this Privacy Policy pursuant to applicable Privacy laws in the countries where the Service is available. Tapp adheres to the protections provided to users based on their country of residence when Tapp Market is operational in that country.
By accessing and/or using the Service, you acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and also give your express consent to the processing of your information and personal data as outlined below. This Privacy Policy incorporates by reference the Tapp Market Terms of ServiceThe words and expressions defined in the Terms or Service have the same meaning for the purposes of this Privacy Policy unless otherwise is expressly specified.
1 Collection of information and personal data

1.1 Registration information
When you create a Tapp Market account, or otherwise utilize the Service, the personal information we collect may include your:

– Date of Birth
– Gender

You must only submit to us, our authorized agent or the Service, information which is accurate and complete and not misleading and you must keep it up to date and inform us of changes (more information below). We reserve the right to request for documentation to verify the information provided by you.

1.2 Use of the Service
When you use the Service we automatically collect certain information, including information on how you use the Service, such as (i) details of queries you make in the Service, and (ii) technical information, including e.g. the visited URLs, your IP-address, browser type and version, and operating system. We also use cookies on our Site to collect this information, please see section 5 below.
1.3 Payment information
Upon payment on the Service, we also collect such information necessary in order to process your payment, including credit card information, bank account details or necessary details according to your selected payment method to be able to process the payment.. We may also retain information regarding your transaction history.
1.4 Surveys etc.
If you participate in surveys or similar which we or third parties on our behalf conduct, we may collect additional information to what is stated in this Privacy Policy. This additional information may be combined with other information, e.g. information you have provided when you signed up for the Service or otherwise provided as a result of your use of the Service. We identify information to be collected in connection with conducting the survey.

We may supplement the information that you have provided with information gathered from various public records.
2. How we use the collected information
We may use the collected information, including your personal data, in order to give you access to the Service, in order to manage the Service, to ensure that the Service operates properly and to develop and improve the Service. We may also use the collected information for invoicing purposes and in order to administrate payments made on the Service. Furthermore, we may use the information in order to communicate with you regarding the Service, for direct marketing purposes and for other purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

We may disclose the information we have collected, including personal data, to various third parties as follows.
4.1 Producers and transportation service providers
In order to provide the Service, Tapp cooperates with a number of Third Party Vendors, Agents and service providers. We may therefore disclose certain information, including your personal data, to such third parties in connection with administration of a purchase of Products or providing a service.
4.2 Third Party Service Providers
We may disclose your personal data to various third party service providers involved in the provision of Service e.g. to our payment service provider or marketing services provider.
These third party service providers are given access only to the personal data necessary for the performance of their obligations in relation to us and they may only process your personal data in accordance with our instructions. They are also liable to take technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data to the same extent as Tapp.
Tapp may disclose your personal data to third parties in circumstances other than those listed above if it is necessary in order to: (a) comply with applicable laws and regulations or requests or orders from competent courts; (b) protect and defend our rights, our property or our interests, such as in a legal dispute; or (c) protect our users.
Additionally, we may transfer collected personal data to third parties in the event of a reorganization, merger or transfer of business.
5. Use of cookies and similar tracking technologies
5.1 What are cookies?
We use cookies on our Site and Application. A cookie is a text file that is stored on your computer, smart phone or tablet for example to present custom web pages to visitors or to collect statistics.
5.2 How we use cookies
Tapp uses cookies for the following purposes.
We use session and authentication cookies to make it possible to control and keep track of users logged into the Service.
We use statistics cookies to measure how the Service functions and is used, and to collect visitor statistics in order to continuously improve and develop the Service.
Functional cookies allow us to provide the Service you have requested, for example to remember your user name, any personal customization of the Service and in order to provide other features, such as correct language, currency, etc. when using the Service.
By accessing and/or utilizing the Service, you expressly give your consent to our use of cookies for the purposes described above. Should you not wish that cookies are stored on your computer, smart phone or tablet, you may change your browser settings to disable cookies. Please note, however, that if you choose to disable cookies some parts of the Service may not work properly or at all.
6. Location Data
When you use certain features of the Service, in particular the Tapp Market Mobile App, or other mobile application, Tapp may receive, store and process different types of information about your location, including general information (e.g., IP address, zip code) and more specific information (e.g., GPS-based or network-based functionality on mobile devices) used to access the Service or specific features of it. We process and may give such location data to our third party subcontractors in order to provide the Service to you.
You give your consent to use your location data as described afore in order to provide the Service for you.
If you access the Service through a mobile device and you do not want your device to provide us with location-tracking information, you can disable the GPS or other location-tracking functions on your device, provided your device allows you to do this. See your device manufacturer’s instructions for further details. Please note, however, that if you choose to disable location features some parts of the Service may not work properly or at all.
7. Retention of personal data
Tapp retains your personal data for the time necessary to fulfill any of the purposes of our processing of your personal data as outlined in this Privacy Policy or to comply with law, regulations, requests and orders from competent courts.
If you decide to stop using the Service and ask for your account to be removed also all other data associated with your account will be removed. However, by requirement of local laws, some data, especially relating to transactions over the service, might have to retained for such a time period as required by the law or anti-money-laundering regulations.
8. Transfer of data to third countries
In order to provide the Service and to fulfill the other purposes specified in this Privacy Policy, we may transfer and process your personal data in other countries. By signing up for and using our Service, you expressly acknowledge and consent to this.
9. Right of access and correction of data
Each user is entitled to access his or her data that has been registered in his or her personal data file.
You may at any time check and edit some of the information we store about under your profile in app.
You have the right to once a year, free of charge, request information of your personal data that is being processed by us. You have the right to request rectification of erroneous or incomplete data contained in your personal data file. The request for rectification must identify the error to be rectified, and provide correct information. You also have the right to request that personal data which has not been processed in accordance with the personal data act must be restricted, blocked or erased. The requests must be sent to the address identified below.
You may at any time decline the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes by notifying us at the e-mail address stated below. Moreover, you have the right to at any time revoke your consent for further processing of your personal data by unregistering your user account. Despite of closing your user account we have the right to keep your transaction history in our files and process it, when necessary.
10. Changes and amendments to the privacy policy
Tapp may amend or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Tapp will in such a case notify such changes through the Service, email or other suitable communication method. You are deemed to have acknowledged and accepted such changes if you thereafter continue to use the Service.
